Huge thank you to TC Group for completing an impressive fundraising cycle ride in aid of Key4Life in November 2017. The group cycled from the TC Group office in Bristol to the Glastonbury, where the Key4Life charity was launched, raising a grand total of £1,000!

"Back in late November 2017, 5 brave souls cycled from Aztec West in North Bristol, to Glastonbury where Key4Life is based. The team members spread the full spectrum of cycling abilities from regular cyclists used to doing 100km or more, right down to the (very) casual cyclist who had to borrow a bike!
The original, planned route was a bit hilly, so we scrapped that in favour of the good old Strawberry line which is longer, but flatter and we could pick it up just after Clevedon. Easy…
We agreed a 9am set off to give us plenty of time to get to the destination in daylight. It was very fresh out, but luckily the sun was shining and the wind was calm so we set off in good spirits. (45 minutes later than planned due to a few previously undiscovered punctures!)
We made good time, and perhaps slightly naively we had a leisurely tea break just North of Clevedon, for probably half an hour too long (as we'd come to realise towards the end of the ride!) After a few wrong turns, we got to Clevedon we picked up the Strawberry line, only to discover that the middle section was waterlogged, and part of the track closed, so a detour was necessary. We followed the signs and eventually made it to the Cheddar Reservoir with the light beginning to fade!
Undeterred, and legs beginning to burn we set off for Glastonbury. After what seemed like an age cycling along the Somerset levels, and with the setting sun providing a stunning backdrop, we eventually arrived into Glastonbury in the dark, just after 6pm!
We are so proud to have raised £1000 for this worthy charity and would happily put up with 48 hours worth of aching legs to do it all again!" - TC Group
