Tom gained NVQ qualifications in catering through Ashfield's successful catering programme.
On release, Key4Life found Tom the opportunity for a work placement in a top country pub and hotel, The King's Arms in Charlton Horethorne, under head chef and owner, Sarah Lethbridge.
Tom's enthusiasm and willingness to learn landed him a permanent job at The King's Arms. Proud of Tom's achievements, he was given an award for "Outstanding Achievement" from the staff at Ashfield prison.
Tom now works as head chef at The Antelope in Wareham where he lives in a four bedroom house with his partner and he has a two year old son who he sees regularly.
